Restoration in progress
Those that toured the Harry C. Goodrich House during the Wright Plus 2005 house walk had a rare opportunity to se a restoration in progress. The walls were stripped down to bare plaster and the origional paint colors were revealed. The owners plan to restore the interor paint to Wright's origional scheme.
Its interesting to note that the owners are in residence while this work is being done. When you own a FLW home being in the middle of a restoration project must be the norm.

Ceremony for Wright Wisconsin buildings named National Historic Landmarks
Three buildings designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in the Madison area will be honored today as National Historic Landmarks.
The First Unitarian Society Meeting House in Shorewood Hills will be the site of a plaque giving ceremony for that building and two others built from the 1930s to the 50s.
The U-S Department of the Interior named the buildings as landmarks in the last two years but the owners never received their plaques.
In a ceremony this afternoon at the Meeting House, that will finally happen.
The celebration will include a Welsh hymn with recorded words by Wright.
