Kenneth Laurent House up for auction
The Kenneth Laurent House in Rockford, Illinois is going up for auction on December 15, 2011. It has been listed with the MLS since January for $875,000, now reportedly the minimum bid will be set below $500,000.
The house is built of tidewater cypress and common brick. The Laurent House is a example of Frank Lloyd Wright's solar hemicycle homes. This Usonian home was built in 1952 as a single story, its a three bedroom home with approximately 2,600 square feet of GLA, and the only handicapped accessible house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
